• Receiving a Trap

When the Trap Receiver receives a trap from the BMC, an alert bar will pop up on the screen and

remain for 10 seconds to notify you that a trap has occurred. In addition, an email alert will be sent out

according to the information field settings in the Email Alert dialog box. Please refer to Figure 12-7.

The email content will include the following information:

A SNMP trap received

Sender:192.168.10.247

Sensor:FAN 2

Description:Lower Non-recoverable - going low

Time:2005/11/22 14:27:07 Tue
